Main Issue
The Port needed to efficiently track productivity by:
- Establishing consistent processes
- Developing consistent checklists
- Providing documentation and information that is visible to all.
This enabled better planning and streamlined processes.
Resolution
MaintStar reviewed the port’s structure and saw that simplification was the key to success. It was important to develop consistent information and documentation for all to view. The Port's new norm became highly reliable work statuses and much better planning. This lead to a very competently run organization.
